1. Who runs this

The Shinkansen Ledger is unofficial hobby writing by Natasha Rimsky. It is not a Japan Railways site and not an agency. I do not sell tickets. I do not use the contact form to sell a product. Hosting is paid with donations.

2. What I collect

The contact form asks for a name, email address, subject, and message. There is one use: answering a question or a correction. I do not use the form for product orders, sales mail, or list trading. I do not ask for card numbers, passport numbers, or railway-account passwords.

If you write about a donation, I use that thread only to send transfer instructions and a thank-you. While you browse, technical data such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and cookies needed for the site to work may be processed.

3. Why I use it

I do not use a form address to sell a hidden product.

4. How long I keep it

I keep correspondence for 24 months after the last reply, unless a law says I must keep it longer, then I delete it. I do not sell address books and I do not hand data to marketers.

5. Cookies

I use technical cookies the form and basic pages need. Advertising cookies would appear here first, with a date, if I ever added them. Company names in the articles are not outbound links.

6. Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or a stop on use. Write [email protected] or call +1 904-890-3955. I aim to answer within 30 days.

7. Children

This site is not aimed at anyone under 16, and I do not try to collect that age group’s data.

8. Changes

A new version of this page will carry a new date. The form still needs its own consent each time.
